Much like the jealous bear-wifey of Grizzly Adams in the beloved Family Guy sketch, the Boston Celtics have been spurned by yet another piece of their future.
Jeff Green, formerly of the Oklahoma City Thunder and a near career-ending heart condition, has been traded by the Boston Celtics to the Memphis Grizzlies. The latest piece of the once-promising Celtics core of Green, Rajon Rondo, Jared Sullinger and Avery Bradley is gone. Why the Celtics have blown it up, we can’t really guess.
I’d like to think it’s because Avery Bradley is a dreadful daily fantasy pick and Jared Sullinger is more likely to become a Sports Meme archetype than an NBA Hall of Famer.
Whatever the reason, the race is on between the Celtics and the New York Knicks to get that number one lottery pick. At least there’s that.

The Boston Celtics traded Jeff Green to officially start Tank-a-Palooza pt.2. Unfortunately for the Celtics, they started way to late. Hope Danny Ainge knows what he is doing with all these picks because if not, it may cost him his job. Only time will tell I guess.

Nailed it @Brian.. either they put their full trust in Avery “Bad”ley (yeah, right) or they’re ready for an under the radar rebuild. First and foremost, this guy needs some leadership on this team

True statement on this team needs a leader. I think Smart will be that guy one day, but that time is not this year.
